Jimmy Brootcoorens

Founder & IT Consultant — 20+ years experience

Jimmy Brootcoorens has been working in IT for over 20 years, including extensive experience as a Service Delivery & Project Manager at an AWS Premier Consulting Partner. There he learned how enterprise clients build, manage, and optimize their cloud infrastructure.

In 2017, he founded JBit based on a clear observation: the technology that large companies use is also affordable and achievable for SMEs — but that knowledge rarely reaches them. JBit brings that expertise to small and medium-sized businesses in Belgium. Since then, JBit has delivered over 30 projects for clients across diverse sectors: from transport and logistics to construction, education, events, and the non-profit sector. Every project is personally guided — you work directly with Jimmy, not with a call center or ticket system.

How We Work

JBit is intentionally small. As a boutique IT consultancy, I combine deep technical knowledge with the flexibility of a sole proprietorship. For specialist assignments, I collaborate with a network of freelance experts — so you always get the right expertise, without the overhead of a large agency. Concretely, that means: short communication lines, fast decisions, and someone who personally guides your project from analysis to delivery. No project managers passing your request along — you always speak with the person doing the work.
